Granted Portugal are through, but Scolari is now without two players for their quarterfinal clash against England. Had the Netherlands gotten through, van Basten would be without two integral players as well. Those two weren’t even trying to calm their players down. Dude.

Nasib van Basten kept van Nistelrooy out – good boy sitting on the bench = no trouble for him to get involved with. That was an awesome game though, I kept screaming, “Riot!! Riot!!” at every moment. Hee. I like the Netherlands and their Oranje Army, but with international teams I stick to the Azzurri and casually watch the rest.

While staring at the huge printout of the World Cup groups and subsequent round of 16, quarter finals, semis and finals, I realised: If the Azzurri place second in their group, they meet the winners of Group F. And who is in group F? BRASIL.
